Yesterday
While awesome life saver lady was at the house Chad and I were able to take a 2 hour nap without either baby in the bed with us. It. Was. Awesome.
It inspired me to try and give Patience and the bassinet another go last night. Cash sleeps on his own in the Rock and Play no problem.
She stayed down from 12:00am until just after 4! I am so happy for those hours of sleep without a teeny tiny...

6 week wrap up...
So my 6 week check up was on Friday, as was the twin’s birthdays.
I had blogged prior to my appointment that I was morbidly excited for my weigh in since I have no scales in my house. Turns out that I have lost 46 lbs since the twins were born, and I have 14 lbs to go in order to reach my pre pregnancy weight- although I am not really counting on ever looking exactly the same in my clothes...

The best money I ever spent
May be what I just gave a nanny/house keeper for 5 hours of her time.
I had time to shower (including shaving my legs), blow dry my hair, put lotion on without rushing, put real clothes on (leggings are totally pants, especially if you were pregnant with twins less than 6 weeks ago), eat 2 meals, an run to the bank! Plus- my kitchen got a scrub down!!! And none of these things meant having to let...

Since the thrush hurts all three of us so bad breast feeding has been a little difficult the past few days. The babies’ latch was getting weak and their diapers less full so I gave my boobs a half day break and used formula.
