But what if I simply like breasts and don’t like children? What if I’m not one of those people who gets all glowy-eyed at a pregnant woman’s belly and doesn’t get all sentimental about “the miracle of life”? Am I still a hypocrit?
I happen to be a woman who does NOT like public breast feeding. I DON’T like touching a pregnant woman’s stomach and I hate when a woman in late term pregnancy wears a bikini outdoors. I think it should be just as legal for women to walk around topless as men and I think the human breast SHOULD be desexualized.
Do I ever say anything to any of them when it happen though? Nope. Not my business and not my place to say anything. I don’t even bother to scowl disapprovingly, I just look away and so should anyone else, but this is a blanket insult that happens to fall on me.
So go fuck yourselves.
Yeeeeeah, your ego is REALLY personalizing this for some illogical reason. If you believe the human breast should be desexualized then you aren’t offended by breastfeeding. And this has nothing to do with baby worship; it’s about the sexualization of women’s bodies. This applies to people who want to ban public breastfeeding but have no problem with half naked breasts jiggling everywhere for their visual and sexual pleasure only; this applies to people who are offended by the biological use of breasts but not sexualization of breasts. That’s the point you and your wholly unnecessary “fuck yourselves” totally missed. In other words, this doesn’t apply to you but you made it apply to you because your ego is big enough to warrant its own postal code.
Critical thinking skills: they tried to teach it to you in high school and seriously failed big time.
