So, on Friday afternoon
my husband banged Patience’s head while playing with her on the changing table Patience banged her head. It was horrible and they both Patience instantly started yelling and getting hysterical.
I was able to nurse Patience and calm her down so that we could get a look at the side of her forehead, where a huge red knot had instantly started developing. Chad
finally was calm enough to go grab the emergency frozen peas out of the freezer, all the while still yelling about how the changing table is in a stupid place and how I don’t love him enough.
Patience was and is fine, I kept a close eye on her for any signs of nausea, dizziness, loss of consciousness and the only lingering sign of her bump to the noggin (other than the welt) was the fact that she kept crying whenever she had to have a diaper change. It took a legion of people reassuring Chad that all babies bump their heads and get boo boos for him to fully calm down.
He apologized for
loosing his shit overreacting a little.
Seriously guys, I am worried about his mental well-being in case of blood or a broken bone.
