- Hopefully they’ll sleep & give mommy some rest. When mine got super clingy, I made DynaPapa take that twin on an outing while I stayed home with the other one. That way, I wasn’t an option for the clingy one because I wasn’t around. Hang in there! block
I had those days so I understand your frustration. Any chance you can get a sitter to help out? And, remember it’s ok to let them cry if you need a 5 or 10 minute break.
The day got better. I just haven’t really had a day where they were both in horrid moods while I was by myself before! Completely overwhelming. Patience ended up crying herself to sleep while I tried to get Cash to calm down, which made me feel bad, but she slept for an hour and a half and woke up a completely different baby. All smiles.
My girlfriend and her family came over so her kids played and entertained Patience while we made Martha Stuart’s white wine spritzers and some Pinterest recipes. Cash was still cranky but one cranky baby is LOADS easier than 2.
I have made it almost 28 years with out a gray hair (pretty good for my family!), but I might have to check in the morning.
