Mama Piggy

kids, style, and rock n' roll

We went in for our 20 week ultrasound a week early since we won’t be able to go next week.
The baby was rolled up into a super tight little ball so it was a little difficult for the tech to get all the measurements and screen shots she needed, but she managed.
The baby always feels like it is rolled up tight and sits just below my belly button. It kind of feels like a big knot, which is so very different from how the twins felt.
Everything looks good though. It is catching up to the weeks in weight now (was an entire week small at the beginning). Healthy heart rate and all that too.
This morning I had an IV treatment to help balance my immune system out. The cold (or whatever it was) that I got last week hit me pretty hard and I am still sniffling and coughing just a bit, and I have started breaking out in the little white blood cell rashy lesions things that come along with a full blown melt down. Hopefully this will help with the extreme fatigue as well.
While I was getting my IV my girlfriend, who is also my doula, brought me an iced green tea.
Today was a pretty good day.
